Course Description:

This geometry course is aligned to the Next Generation Geometry standards.  The class will focus on six areas:

                                             1.        Congruence

                                             2.        Similarity, Right Triangles, and Trigonometry

                                             3.        Circles

                                             4.        Expressing Geometric Properties with Equations

                                             5.        Geometric Measurement and Dimensions

                                             6.        Modeling with Geometry

Students will be NOT taking a regents exam on NGLS Geometry. A final project will be given and will count as 20% of the final grade.
