In 2017, the Information Systems department in the Economic and Management Sciences Faculty launched a post-graduate Diploma in Software and Media with specialization in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. Part of this diploma is an industry research project aimed at providing students with the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge in terms of the structuring, managing and analytical manipulation of data, which they acquired from the other modules, on real-world projects in a public or private company.
From 2018 to 2021 I acted as academic supervisor of these projects. In 2022, I moved into a mentorship role providing guidance to less experienced colleagues on how to supervise industry/academic collaborative projects.
