WHAT IS GRADE 2?

Grade 2 is the second-level of the foundation phase - learners are usually between the ages of 7-8 years old. In South Africa children don't have an option but are obligated by Law to enroll grade 2 at the expected age of 8 years. These grade 2 programs, learning games, and teaching resources build skills gradually and sequentially to ensure mastery at each stage of skill development..

Its subjects content is prescribed by our government 's education department. Such as:

• Language - either home language or the language spoken at the school  including their First Additional Language

• Mathematics

• Life Skills which includes Beginning Knowledge, Creative Arts, Physical Education, and Personal and Social Well-being
