My name is Ms. Aduna, and I am the College and Career Counselor at Foothill High School! This is my first year at Foothill, but not my first year in the Tustin Unified School District. I have worked at Beswick Elementary, Pioneer Middle School, Tustin High School, and Columbus Tustin Middle School before coming to Foothill! I have also worked at Irvine High School in the Irvine Unified School District. Why did I hop around so much, you may be thinking? I recently finished my Master of Arts in Education: School Counseling at Concordia University of Irvine and interned in two different school districts. Before Concordia, I attended UC Davis in Northern California and earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Development with a minor in Education and Psychology. 

I love my position as a College & Career Counselor because I was once in your shoes of being unsure of what my future held for me. I was a heavy procrastinator my senior year of high school and was waitlisted for my dream school. I entered college with a major I was unsure about and ended up not doing well my freshman year of college. With the guidance of my college counselor, I was able to find a major I was passionate about, which has led me down my current career path. I understand the uncertainty the future holds, but I can attest to the fact that there are amazing people out there who are there to help you!

When I'm not helping students with all things college and career, you can find me out on a walk with my dog, cuddling my cats, tending my plants, or playing farming video games! I love Filipino, Italian, and Mexican food and am looking forward to one day visiting Japan!
