A cover letter is a one page letter that highlights your strengths and persuades the hiring manager to view your resume. It is a letter that grasps the manager's attention and engages them to want to learn more about you. A cover letter is also where you can highlight the positives of the company you are looking to apply to (always do your research on the company) and how you can relate your skills to why you would benefit the company.
