Principal's Message

Hello Bobcats!

I hope you found good ways to beat the heat this week! As your children might have shared with you, our MPR became the place to beat the heat this week. Please know that this is our regular practice during heat advisories. 

Save the date: Bingo Night is on Tuesday, September 16, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. This is our first PTA family event, and it has always been a fun evening to be a part of. Come out and enjoy this wonderful evening of fun with the family and the opportunity to connect with other families.

Looking further ahead, Friday, September 19th, is fall picture day. During the fall, students are to be in their school uniform as these pictures are also the ones that will be used for their student records. In the spring, a secondary picture day will be held where students are able to select an alternate outfit to wear. 

Lastly, we have our first School Site Council meeting on Tuesday, September 9th, at 2:45 pm. This meeting is open to all parents and will be held virtually by using the Zoom link here. The agenda for the meeting can be found linked here.

¡Hola Bobcats!

¡Espero que hayan encontrado buenas maneras de combatir el calor esta semana! Como sus hijos probablemente les hayan contado, nuestro salón multiusos se convirtió en el lugar ideal para combatir el calor esta semana. Tengan en cuenta que esta es nuestra práctica habitual durante las alertas de calor.

Reserva la fecha: La Noche de Bingo es el martes 16 de septiembre, de 17:00 a 18:30 h. Este es nuestro primer evento familiar de la PTA, y siempre ha sido una noche divertida. Ven y disfruta de esta maravillosa noche de diversión en familia y la oportunidad de conectar con otras familias.

De cara al futuro, el viernes 19 de septiembre es el día de fotos de otoño. Durante el otoño, los estudiantes deberán usar su uniforme escolar, ya que estas fotos también se usarán para sus expedientes académicos. En primavera, se realizará un segundo día de fotos donde los estudiantes podrán elegir un atuendo alternativo.

Por último, tendremos nuestra primera reunión del Consejo Escolar el martes 9 de septiembre a las 14:45. Esta reunión está abierta a todos los padres y se realizará virtualmente a través del enlace de Zoom aquí . La agenda de la reunión se puede encontrar aquí.
