Hello Bobcats!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Next week will be another shorter school week. No school on Monday in honor of Presidents' Day.
I am happy to share that our third graders enjoyed a whale-watching boat trip this week. Someone forgot to tell the whales! However, during the boat's return to the harbor, the students were greeted by a large pod of dolphins that swam alongside the boat. It was a highlight trip for sure! Thank you to all the parents who chaperoned and/or allowed their children to attend this fantastic field trip.
On Wednesday, our fifth-graders will be heading to Outdoor Education Camp! A lifetime of memories ahead.

¡Feliz día de San Valentín!
La próxima semana será otra semana escolar más corta. No hay clases el lunes en honor al Día de los Presidentes. Me alegra compartir que nuestros alumnos de tercer grado disfrutaron de un paseo en barco para avistar ballenas esta semana. ¡Alguien olvidó avisarles! Sin embargo, durante el regreso del barco al puerto, los alumnos fueron recibidos por una gran manada de delfines que nadaban junto a ellos. ¡Fue una excursión inolvidable! Gracias a todos los padres que acompañaron o permitieron que sus hijos asistieran a esta fantástica excursión.
El miércoles, nuestros alumnos de quinto grado irán al Campamento de Educación al Aire Libre. ¡Les esperan recuerdos inolvidables!
¡Que tengan un maravilloso fin de semana de tres días y que se animen los Bobcats!

Dear TUSD Families,
At Tustin Unified, we value your voice! Your input is essential as we set goals and actions for the 2026-27 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
The Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) guides how California distributes state funding to school districts, ensuring resources support both core and supplemental programs. The LCAP serves as a vital tool for transparency and community engagement in this process. You can explore the current Board Approved 2025-26 LCAP on our district website.
As we plan for the upcoming 2026-27 school year, we want to hear from you! Your feedback will help shape district priorities and guide updates to our LCAP. Please take a few moments to complete the 2026-27 LCAP Survey and share what matters most in your child’s education.
We encourage all families to participate by April 11, 2026. If you have any questions, please contact the Educational Services Department.

The old bus passes expired on Sept. 30th. We have a limited number of new bus passes available in the Community Center.
Please stop by from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm or from 1:00 to 2:40 pm to complete an application and receive a pass for your student.

This flyer explains a new state law that requires all districts to comply with the School Food Safety Act AB 2316 by December 2027. At that time, we will no longer be able to order or serve foods or beverages containing the synthetic dyes listed on the flyer.

The Medical Statement Form must be signed by a licensed physician in order for us to process meal accommodation requests.
4. Fluid Milk Substitution Form
This updated form can be completed by parents to request soy milk or lactose-free milk for their child(ren). Please note: water and juice are not acceptable substitutions.
