Meet our newest staff member - Ms. Santos (School Counselor)
Ms. Santos has worked in education for over 10 years! She is passionate about helping students grow both academically and personally. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her hiking new trails, spending time with family and friends, or traveling whenever she gets the chance. She is also a big soccer/football fanatic. Ms. Santos shared, "I can’t wait to get to know the students, staff, and families of Beswick Elementary, and to be part of the Bobcat community!" 🐾

La Señorita Santos lleva más de 10 años trabajando en el sector educativo. Le apasiona ayudar a los estudiantes a crecer tanto académica como personalmente. Fuera del trabajo, suele encontrarla recorriendo nuevos senderos, pasando tiempo con familiares y amigos, o viajando siempre que tiene la oportunidad. También es una gran fanática del fútbol. La Sra. Santos comentó: "¡Tengo muchas ganas de conocer a los estudiantes, al personal y a las familias de la Escuela Primaria Beswick, y de formar parte de la comunidad Bobcat!" 🐾

Our teachers have launched Unit 1 in Benchmark Advance, where students across all grade levels are exploring the theme of Life Science. This unit invites students to discover how living things grow, change, and interact with their environment. Students will be working on this theme through the first week of October. We look forward to seeing their curiosity and critical thinking skills grow as they dive deeper into science and literacy. See below for a content alignment chart with our upcoming themes.

Nuestros profesores han lanzado la Unidad 1 de Benchmark Advance, donde estudiantes de todos los grados exploran el tema de las Ciencias de la Vida. Esta unidad invita a los estudiantes a descubrir cómo los seres vivos crecen, cambian e interactúan con su entorno. Los estudiantes trabajarán en este tema durante la primera semana de octubre. Esperamos ver cómo su curiosidad y pensamiento crítico crecen a medida que profundizan en la ciencia y la lectoescritura. Vea a continuación una tabla de alineación de contenido con nuestros próximos temas.

Our next meeting will be on October 8th, and we welcome PTA members, students, PE teachers, nurses, TUSD employees, and parents to join.
This flyer explains a new state law that requires all districts to comply with the School Food Safety Act AB 2316 by December 2027. At that time, we will no longer be able to order or serve foods or beverages containing the synthetic dyes listed on the flyer.

The Medical Statement Form must be signed by a licensed physician in order for us to process meal accommodation requests.
4. Fluid Milk Substitution Form
This updated form can be completed by parents to request soy milk or lactose-free milk for their child(ren). Please note: water and juice are not acceptable substitutions.
