Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! In religion the class read a quote by the German priest and theologian Meister Eckhart. It goes as follows, "If the only prayer you say is thanks, that's enough." We discussed this quote during religion period, and then the class wrote their thoughts down. What came through as I read those pieces was a clear picture of children cherished and well-guided. They were all so thankful for their families, their friends, their world...And, every single one of them was concerned for those who don't have what they have. So, at Thanksgiving..."Thanks." It's the best prayer any of us can offer! Bless you all...
