Welcome to U.S. History-10th Grade

Course Overview

This is 10th grade U.S. History. We generally begin with a quick glance over the Civil War and begin with Reconstruction. 10th history moves at a pretty quick pace and touches a bit of everything up to our present day history.

The first day of class your child will receive a class syllabus along with classroom rules. A parent/guardian and the student needs to sign the classroom rules paper and if your child brings it back by the designated time period he/she will receive 5 bonus points.

Online Gradebook/PowerSchool
Sacred Heart uses PowerSchool, an online learning management system. For assistance with login user name and password, please contact the office. In addition to a variety of other features, parents and students can use PowerSchool to look at scores for assessments. While grades will be updated regularly, please note that grades are not updated instantly the moment an assessment is turned in. If there is a question or need for a most up-to-date grade report, students and parents can contact me directly. Below are indicators/symbols you may see in PowerSchool.
