Dr. Berry's Dual Enrollment English students had the opportunity to share either their Literacy Narrative or a Profile of a Writer. Their findings were presented in a poster format, and students and staff had the opportunity to walk through and speak to the students about their research in the media center.

Are you ready for FSA? Students in McDowell, Wolfe, and Mongiovi's 9th Grade Classes will be well prepared after going through FSA boot camp last week in the media center. Students completed timed missions that focused on the key areas of the assessment.

Mrs. Jackson's students created puzzle pieces based on The Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon.

Ms. Brittain, Mr Youngblood, and Mrs. Barclay, are working with their senior classes on unsolved mysteries.

The media center has come alive with discussions about the whereabouts of Jack the Ripper and the true identity of the Zodiac Killer-Gary Stewart claims his father was the ZK.


Students are stepping it up a notch in Mrs. Judge's class by creating their own versions of Dante's Inferno through multiple mediums of expression.

Check out this Google Site created by one of her students. They have verged music, art, poetry, and rap to create a visionary experience through Dante's world.

Mrs. McDowell's Honor's Classes made blackout poetry after completing To Kill a Mockingbird. Students created poems using one page of text from the novel.
