Frequently Asked Questions
INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW!
Have Questions?
We are not perfect but we do our best to provide timely and accurate information. Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions about assessments at HHS. This is an ongoing list so if there is something you feel that needs to be addressed, send an email with the question(s) to Ms. Dickison.
How long are the tests?
Test sessions and lengths vary depending on the test.
Students may not leave early from a test session. Once they finish and submit their tests, they may log out of the testing device and read quietly. They may not use the testing device to complete classwork.
Benchmark exams typically last 60-75 minutes. Remember these exams are taken in the classrooms with the teachers.
SAT/PSAT and ACT typically take up to half of the school day.
Students with extended time accommodations may test for the entire school day and sometimes over multiple days.
What if my student is part time SCVS or FLVS?
If your student has at least one class on campus, they will be scheduled to take the tests on campus.
