In this lesson, students will learn about informational writing, specifically a literary analysis essay, and then write their own literary analysis essays. 

What is informational writing?

Informational writing gives readers information about a specific topic or idea. A literary analysis writer details from a literary text to support his or her ideas about an element of a text.
