Ms. Krachun’s 5th grade ELA will finish  Unit 3: Craft and Structure in Informational Texts. In Lesson 14, you will learn to analyze accounts of the same topic. You will focus on comparing the different points of view each text represents. We will also continue figurative language, spelling, vocabulary, and grammar. This is the LAST lesson of Unit 3. 

Writing- We will begin learning to write a literary analysis. We will study a mentor text and unpack our prompt and start reading the sources. In grammar, we are learning about shifts in verb tenses.
