outreach Events

In order to further our cause, by spreading STEM to our community, we host events centered around hands-on STEM activities and FIRST. We also attend a lot of FTC events hosted by other teams!

2021-2022 outreach events

7/23/2021 - 7/24/2021 - We were featured on Team 16458 TechnoWizards's podcast where we talked about our outreach from the Ultimate Goal (2020-2021) Season. Other teams were also featured on the podcast to talk about game strategy and the robot game.

10/22/2021 - Our team along with teams 7172, 11563, 20313, and 19897 met on Zoom to discuss outreach ideas we could complete as a group. Team 7172 also shared helpful robot design and game strategies.

11/27/2021 - We attended Team 11563 Robo-Wranglers Workshop at Hedrick Middle School. There, we were able to collaborate with other teams and practice with the field.

01/02/2022 - The programmers on our team hosted a coding workshop where they taught the basics of both Python and Java with over 45 attendees. After they taught the basics, they showed the students how these languages can be used in FTC.

01/16/2022 - Our team hosted a STEM and FIRST workshop that allowed participants to engage in hands-on STEM/robotics activities. It was held at the Schimelpfenig Library, and it was a complete success as over 50 people attended.
