District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)

At OCDE ACCESS, we believe that families are powerful partners in helping English Learners succeed. We invite parents and guardians of English Learners to be a part of our District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) — a group that works closely with the superintendent to help shape programs, services, and decisions that directly impact our students.

💬 What Does DELAC Do?

As a member, you’ll help:

Shape the district’s Master Plan for English Learner programs
Review needs and priorities across schools
Set goals for student support and achievement
Ensure staff meet state requirements
Give input on reclassification policies
Review family notifications and letters
Provide feedback on the LCAP

🗳️ Who Can Join?

Parents of English Learners can be elected each year or as needed. Everyone is welcome to get involved!
