Peters Pups Are...

At Peters Elementary School we are all held to the same expectations in all areas of the building. Mr. Schnyderite always says, "Be your best on the bus". This can be applied everywhere! In Room 105, our daily goal is to help each other, to grow and be better, TOGETHER! We will nourish and lift each other up!

Consequences and Reflection

No one is "perfect", each "mistake" is a chance to learn and GROW! I use a color system to visually remind students of the choices that they are making. It is fluid and we may move up and down if choices are positive and or if reflection time is needed. Just like the grass under our feet grows and grounds us, we start EACH day (morning and afternoon) on green!

• (Grow and be..) Green - Means GO! We are ready to learn and grow.

• (Mellow) Yellow - Reminders were given to make better choices. (A consequence might be given.)

• (Think) Pink - We need to think about making better choices without constant reminders. (A consequence given, as teacher's discretion.)

• Red - Remember, tomorrow is a new day. I will contact the parent(s) with my concerns. A discussion might need to happen with the parent(s) and/or Mr. Schnyderite or Mrs. Kromer. (A consequence will be given.)

• Brilliant Blue - You BLEW (see what I did there) me away with your determination and application of skills we have learned. Your child will flip UP!

• Passionate Purple - You have demonstrated kindness and thoughtfulness throughout the day! You child will flip up!
