I had the rare opportunity to work with DBS and ldelve into the challenges faced the elderly population as they conduct various bank transactions. Throughout this journey, I also engaged with zestful professors, clients, and Google Mentors, whose invaluable feedback consistently stimulated our team to devise innovative solutions to addressed the nuanced difficulties faced by elderly DBS users.

SDS is one of the few summer courses provided by SUTD that merges CSD and DAI students (as far as I know in Aug 2023) together and challenges them to create an actual functional app/software, incorporating software development (SDLC) practices and machine learning in our project. While challenging, if the course never change significantly, you would have the opportunity to try out Google features like Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and CloudSQL (the list goes on). But it's stressful, so be mentally prepared to get the best out of this course :)
