As a elderly bank user who is reliant on help from people, currently
I have to carry out many of my bank transactions using self-service avenues in order to shorten the queueing time at DBS branches.
How might we educate the elderly to do bank transactions using self-service avenues on their own.
As a working bank teller, currently
I have to convince elderly bank customers relying on onsite-services to migrate over in order for them to carry out simple transactions instead of going over to a branch for these transactions
How might we attract elderly bank customers to carry out simple transactions using app/machines
As a non tech-savvy elderly/bank user, currently
I have to visit a branch and collect a queue number to see a bank teller to use banking services.
How might we reduce the frequency of elderly visiting local bank branches by making self service banking easier to use?
Iteration #1
Iteration #2
As an elderly that can use mobile phone but has an atm card, currently,
It is a hassle to remember my pin at ATMs and I feel insecure due to a lack of visibility of balance using just card and pin only for the following services (Cash withdrawal, Cash deposit, Balance Checking)
How can I perform these transaction at ATMs with more confidence and less need for memory.
Final Iteration
As an elderly who has a mobile phone and an ATM card but has problems remembering my pin number, currently,
I have to bring my ATM card and key in my pin at ATMs in order to perform basic transactions (cash withdrawal and deposit, and account balance checking) but I feel uncomfortable and insecure in doing so.
How can we make these ATM transactions elderly-friendly such that they are carried out with more confidence and familiarity by the elderly and rely less on memory?
