In the beginning of our project, our group as a collective needed to individually research about our topic and the plan we will try to follow to make it become a reality. Parts of this research included: description, conceptual plan, strategy, and risks.
Doing research is a significant part of the engineering process which is done in order to get more familiar and insightful of the topic at hand, by taking time in looking online different aspects of the project that will be dealt with, the group is able to come into the project with a foundation of newfound knowledge they can use to approach the problem and resolve it more effectively.

Diving into a description of the project along with the need for a new innovative pitcher product, a few sketches and a couple potential issues this page shows the beginning our the research in the engineering process for this project.
With the time dedicated to research, a similar idea was able to be discovered called "Sammons Preston Pour Thing," which can potentially help with creating our own sketches and ideas. However, there will be issues later on discussing the advantages and disadvantages of existing products in the potential issues page.
Starting on the previous page and ending here, there is a written conceptual plan which shows a general timeline of the tasks needed to be completed and a list of assignments that eventually need to be completed.
Touching on the strategy behind completing our project, by listing the materials needed by the contestants in Skills USA and going over each topic of the the Judges Criteria in detail.
This page continues addressing the different parts of the Judges Criteria the group needs to reflect on during our engineering process.
The risks are important factors to take into account for this project and are listed on the page above including back-up plans for some of the draw-backs we may experience.
