This year in our Engineering Design and Development course students were placed in teams of three in order to be submitted into different competitions including SkillsUSA. During the school year, students will have to work with their assigned groups to brainstorm and come up with solutions to problems in the world of today.
According to the Competition Website the Purpose of this Project is:
- To recognize an outstanding engineering design project that has been developed by a three-member team of engineering or technology students. The student team will present its innovative idea along with a storyboard, a design prototype and engineering notebook.

The number of points that the Judges score for the team counts toward if a group will be able to advance to states.

As the SkillsUSA State Competition approaches, the team will be reviewing the Judges Score Card in order to ensure that all aspects of the rubric are addressed.
