As a type of bar graph, a Gantt Chart is able to schedule and organize different tasks that serve as stepping stones in accomplishing a bigger goal.
By creating a Gantt Chart and updating it constantly, the group is able to have a clear idea of their immediate goals along with what assignments or tasks they should be prepared to start and complete by a certain deadline. This helps in time managing and allows the group to see what needs to be changed if an obstacle or challenge stops them from achieving a task by a predetermined deadline.
As of now, the Gantt Chart below on Google Sheets has been updated the 21st of February of 2020 and will be updated every few weeks during the process in creating the final product of our project.
From the end of September to the beginning of January, our group was able to create a Gantt Chart to help visually see the tasks that needed to be completed and the time we had to complete them. For this first Gantt Chart, we used the following website: https://online.officetimeline.com/app/ .
The following Gantt Chart is from September of 2019 to May of 2020. In order to be more thorough with our work, we decided, in addition to the "Task Title", include the "Task Owner" and "Percent of Task Complete" columns to add on to our Gantt Chart. Moreover, we decided to change the website we used to create our website: now it is on Google Sheets.
When going through the Google Sheets, the left side columns include comments from our peers and notices from some of the assignments mentioned in the Gantt Chart.
