The waters were warming,
The sharks were hungry,
And the otters were fresh prey.
The otters ate the urchins,
The urchins ate the kelp,
And the kelp forest was fresh prey.
The sharks ate the otters,
The fish were getting hungry,
But the Urchins ate all the kelp.
The waters were warming,
The Earth was getting hungry,
But the apes ate all the kelp.
But the apes possessed somethings,
The urchins did not,
Hands, art, learning and thought.
The urchins could not see,
Could not think,
Could not be.
Had the urchins had sharks,
Of awareness, of creation.
Might the forest be shared,
Urchins, fish, in relation.
Art unifies you.. can focus or concentrate your existence to create something outside of yourself. As apposed to consuming, creating uses who you are to build something new. When I do art, or connect with nature, or learn about nature and connect the dots between universals and singularities of our existence in general, it's very humbling but very spiritual and enlightening in the way it connects you to the unimaginable and the incomprehensible. When we created art we build something form nothing, we draw from the bag on the infinite and gift it to the finite, to earth and to life and for our enjoyment, but also to give it existence.
