When the pandemic and quarantine first started, I didn't dance at all. I had been dancing almost daily for years leading up to it, and I felt extremely unmotivated and bored in my house. When I came to college and started dancing again, I was less focused on technique and more focused on creating movement and reconnecting with why I loved dance. It helped me stay busy, active, and do something I loved. It was amazing to get reinvested in something that I cared about so much in a time that is so uncertain for everyone. I'm so grateful to dance for helping me get through the more isolated and limited daily life covid has brought.
