Mr. Jacob Wakefield

I am the Honors Biology and AP Environmental Science teacher, I have been teaching since 2012.  I earned a BS degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Riverside and did my graduate work in education there as well.

I love teaching, making the connections with my students and pushing myself and my students to not only understand the subject but to hopefully have fun and dig in deep as well. No matter where my students go on from here I try to instill a work ethic that will carry them through into the life they choose to live.

When I'm not at school (or planning for school at home) I love the outdoors. Beach, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, hiking, even just walking along the harbor, I love it. When I get a chance to cook, I love trying different types of food. My wife and I have lived in San Pedro for a year and we love it.
