California Youth Crisis Line - 800-843-5200

The California Youth Crisis Line (CYCL) operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week as the statewide emergency response system for youth (ages 12-24) and families in crisis. Professionally trained staff and volunteer counselors respond to 17,000 calls annually with crisis intervention counseling and resource referrals to service providers in the caller’s local community. We have access to more than 5,500 free or low-cost resources for youth and families across California.

Suicide Prevention Crisis Line

Didi Hirsch’s Suicide Prevention Crisis Line is a leading member of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 (the previous number, 1-800-273-8255, will continue to function and will route calls to 988 indefinitely). We are currently the only center in the national network with English- and Spanish-speaking crisis counselors 24/7. We also have Korean-speaking counselors during peak evening hours (4:30pm to 12:30am PT, 7 days per week) at 877-727-4747.
