Dons are upper-year students who are carefully selected by the Residence Life management team and receive extensive training to ensure that they meet the needs of the students living in their community. Dons create a community environment through building relationships, providing support, promoting responsible behaviour, encouraging awareness of diversity and respect, and acting as an academic and social role model. Through programming, Dons provide both an out-of-the-classroom learning experience designed to encourage personal growth, and provide social activities to enhance personal relationships and to have fun!
