Concert Choir (Period 4)
A beginning choir class for students with no singing experience, or students who want to sing daily without heavy performance requirements. This class performs twice a year at our Winter Concert and Spring Concert (Spartan Sweets). Students learn the basics of music theory and sight singing, and they sing songs of styles and genres. There is no audition to join!

Vocal Ensemble (Period 5)
An intermediate/advanced choir class for students with experience in choir, or students who have basic music theory and sight reading skills. This class is performance based: performances are mandatory and part of the class grade. Students will sing at our Fall Preview Concert, Winter Concert, Disneyland Workshop, SCVA Festival, District Festival and our Spring Concert (Spartan Sweets). In class students continue to learn music theory and intermediate /advanced sight singing as they sing songs of many different styles and genres. Students must audition to join this class.

Armonía (Period 6)
An advanced choir class for students with experience in choir, or students who have intermediate to advanced music theory and sight reading skills. This class is performance based: performances are mandatory and part of the class grade. This class is for treble voices who want to sing more challenging material and who are committed to making beautiful music in a small and tight ensemble. Students will sing at our Fall Preview Concert, Winter Concert, Disneyland Workshop, SCVA Festival, District Festival and our Spring Concert (Spartan Sweets). Students will also sing at Back to School night and Open House as well as various opportunities in the community. In class students continue to learn music theory and advanced sight singing as they sing songs of many different styles and genres. Students must audition to join this class.

AUDITIONS for ADVANCED CLASSES
March 13-14, 2024
New Student Auditions for all Advanced Choirs, Dance 2 and Dance 3, and Musical Theater Production (LVP) will be held in the dance room (room 23) on Wednesday 3/13 from 3pm - 6pm and Thursday 3/14 from 4pm-6pm.
NO AUDITION IS REQUIRED FOR CONCERT CHOIR!!
