Hi, my name is Jennifer.

I am a Foreign English Teacher from the US. I am licensed to teach Mandarin Chinese to Pre-Kindergarten through Senior High School students. I taught Mandarin Chinese for 10 years in various places in the United States. After I added a TESOL endorsement to my teaching license, I decided to switch things up. Now, I'm teaching English to elementary school students in Taiwan and loving all of the new projects and challenges!

Learning a language includes understanding the culture. I love to travel and experience different cultures. Doing so has made me quite open-minded and curious. I strive to bring this inquisitiveness to my students as well. 

I believe that students learn better when they are having fun. This means creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable letting down their guard and aren't afraid to try!
