The Montana Youth Challenge Academy (MYCA) Wellness Policy reflects our commitment to supporting the physical, emotional, and educational well-being of our cadets. It guides nutrition, physical activity, health education, and other wellness-focused activities throughout the Academy.
Key Features:
Eat Well: Cadets enjoy nutritious meals that follow federal and state guidelines, with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and balanced choices.
Stay Active: Cadets participate in daily physical activities, from fitness training to organized sports, to keep both body and mind strong.
Learn Healthy Skills: Cadets receive lessons in hygiene, stress management, substance awareness, and making smart life choices.
Give Back: Cadets practice community service, learning the value of helping others while staying healthy themselves.
The Academy regularly evaluates the effectiveness of its wellness programs and implements improvements as needed. This policy is reviewed and updated routinely, with opportunities for feedback from cadets, parents, staff, and the community.Â
