If you remember, last month I shared that my ONE WORD for 2022 was listen. I've been working on LISTENING to myself, other staff members, students, my family, etc. And listening with different purposes.
...and I also spend a lot of time with the music of Encanto having two young kids. EVERY time I listen or watch I think of school. Teaching, coaching, students, peers, etc. Depending on the day's mood, I will think to myself, "THAT is the song that makes me feel seen." or "How can I/we tap into the power of this message with students and each other?"
Generally I default to "Surface Pressure" as the anthem of teachers right now, but I also see Mirabel and Louisa in us too. Maybe even a bit of Bruno. I would say take a listen to yourself and the songs.

Bruno to Mirabel: "You're exactly what this family needs," Uncle Bruno tells Mirabel. "They just need to see it."
Check out this ALDO (AMAZING LESSON DESIGN OUTLINE) I found from TCEA's blog. It has embedded links to help you design a lesson when you need a little nudge for ideas in each of the areas of SEL, Assessment, Teaching & Learning, & Reflection.
