Welcome to 7I ELA!
7th Grade English Language Arts is designed to introduce BIS students to the joys, challenges, and benefits of reading and writing well. Students will be exposed to numerous genres, styles, and periods of literature in the hopes that they will find merit and enjoyment in the analysis and study of each. Students will learn foundational skills such as reading techniques, the writing process, annotation, vocabulary, research, public speaking, syntax, structure, grammar basics, and many others that will be necessary for success both at BIS and in their lives as scholars.
