In 1974, the Phetchaburi Witthaya Longkorn Teachers College Demonstration Primary School was established under royal patronage with the aim of providing education to the children of university personnel, specifically at the kindergarten and primary school levels. Initially, it operated within the Morakot Dormitory, Topaz Dormitory, and Paitoon Dormitory buildings.

In 1980, the school moved to Building 3, and in 1992, it underwent a name change to become the Phetchaburi Wittayalongkorn Rajabhat Institute Demonstration School. During this time, the building received renovations and the number of classrooms increased from one to two at each level.

In 1996, an additional building was constructed to serve as a kindergarten-level classroom, and in 1997, improvements included the installation of air conditioning in the laboratories. In 2003, the institution underwent another name change, becoming the Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat Institute Demonstration School.

Further developments occurred in 2004 when it was renamed Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University Demonstration School. During this period, a new school building with five classrooms was constructed, expanding the number of classrooms from two to three.

In 2007, the school expanded its teaching offerings to include lower secondary education, and in 2010, it began offering high school-level education. In 2015, a new school building was erected, specifically for kindergarten and primary school learning.

In 2016, a special classroom curriculum was introduced to promote excellence in science and mathematics. Finally, in 2017, the school started offering various programs, including the English Program, Intensive English Program, and Standard Program. Over the years, the institution has evolved and expanded its educational offerings to cater to a wider range of students and subjects.
