Sheffield Hallam University uses PebblePad software to create and house electronic portfolios where students can gather evidence and mentors can view, contribute and 'sign-off' from anywhere in the world.
PebblePad is split into two areas. Pebble+ is where students can view, edit and work on their portfolio. ALTAS is where a copy of the portfolios are held for assessment and where mentors can view and contribute. The information below provides guidance on how to start using PebblePad to support your role as mentor.
New to PebblePad? This video will describe what this package is trying to do and how it can enhance learning and teaching.
There's also a support website to help you navigate PebblePAD. Just follow the link
As you learn about PebblePad you can see that it is a powerful tool with lots of potential. As such we have created a website dedicated to user guides and help to support you through your journey as a mentor and PebblePad user. The site has a dedicated area for Externals, Mentors and Employers which you can find through clicking on the link (picture) below or here.
This site should be your first call for any questions you have about PebblePad and contains guidance on who you can contact if what you need can't be found.
