Enrolment January 2023:
Enrolment information:
New students
Enrolment invitations for January 2022/23 will be sent from December onwards – please keep an eye on emails for information about this (also check your ‘junk folder’).
For courses starting on 09 January, this means students should be enrolled by 8 January; for courses starting on 17 January students should be enrolled by 16 January. For January courses these start dates are the commencement of teaching, with welcome activity to run concurrently throughout January.
On the first day you will meet the Course Leader Lee Higginbotham and your Year Tutor Nancy Ali. You will be formally inducted, and be directed towards lots of information surrounding the campus, facilities and the course. We will give an overview of the coming year and what to expect for assessment. If you have not already completed your DBS and health screening you will need to do this too.
During the week you will be able to meet students from other MSc Pre-Registration Courses that you will be sharing modules with over the course duration and we will seek to explore opportunities for you to meet students in their second year.
You will have some lectures detailing lots of information you will need to know; some seminars about professionalism and what we expect of you on the course.
You will meet your Academic Advisor (who will support you academically throughout your 2 years), the Student Support Officer and representatives from the Student's Union.
