As a SHU student on a health care course leading to HCPC registration you have a responsibility to act professionally at ALL times and this includes your social media profile.
Potential employers look at social media profiles.
Colleagues / fellow students report inappropriate use and can easily take screen shots.
The University, HCPC and employers have regulations re: appropriate use.
Inappropriate material could lead to discipline and removal from the course!

Have a look at your social media profile before you come and remove anything you think may be inappropriate. It is a good idea to make your profile private.
Do not 'like' anything inappropriate someone else has put on social media, even if it is meant as a joke. This may also lead to disciplinary procedures.
Be careful from now on and think about what you are putting on social media!
