Working in a Laboratory

If your placement experience involves working in a laboratory then you are advised to contact your Placement Provider Supervisor for further information, as they will have in depth knowledge of their workplace and they will also be able to let you know the measures that are in place to minimise risk, as much as possible.

Your employer may also require you to have the Hepatitis B Vaccination, if they do, please email  WorkExperience@shu.ac.uk and we will be able to provide you with a proforma to take to SHU Health based in our Surrey Building, City Campus.
