You and Your Placement

Your placement might not be based in an office, working Monday-Friday from 9:00am until 5:00pm. It might be that you are doing something a little different, working abroad in a different city, working outdoors or on a site, working with specialist machinery or chemicals, or perhaps working with vulnerable people or young people in an education setting. We have some further information which is relevant to your Health & Safety Essentials training, in the areas listed below.

Your academic team may have further information regarding Health & Safety on placement in these specific settings and more, and you should ensure you check with them thoroughly for any requirements or additional learning materials you need to engage with prior to working in one of these specialist settings.
