Important dates will be set out and communicated by your Level Manager

The interviews provide a formal record of your learning, reflections and achievement.

Initial interview:

You will complete this with support from your practice supervisor or practice assessor who will identify the learning opportunities available during the placement If the practice supervisor completes the initial interview this needs to be confirmed by the practice assessor.

Mid-point interview:

You will complete this with your practice assessor who will review your progress . You are required to complete a self-assessment / reflection upon your Knowledge, Skills, Values and Attitudes. You will then discuss this with your Practice Assessor making links to evidence you have gathered. You will then make plans to meet your learning and development needs and allow you to develop further. You will also complete a Professional Values Assessment.

Final interview:

You will complete this with your practice assessor who will review your progress and confirm achievements. You are required to complete a self-assessment / reflection upon your Knowledge, Skills, Values and Attitudes. You will then discuss this with your Practice Assessor making links to evidence you have gathered. Your Practice Assessor will review your MYEPAD (the evidence you have gathered and the assessments you have completed). Please note there is a checklist on the final interview page to ensure the Practice Assessor has completed all elements of the assessment. You will also complete a Professional Values Assessment.

If you are allocated a placement 2 you will complete the above interviews for your placement 2 - the same documentation will show within MYEPAD for both placements. Please complete all documents.

If allocated a placement 3 / you require a retrieval placement you will complete the above interviews.

During this time you can continue to gather a body of evidence around the learning opportunities you encounter.

If this is deemed a Retrieval placement you will have the chance of reassessment for any assessment / proficiencies not achieved.
