What are Professional Values Assessments?

You are required to demonstrate high standards of professional conduct at all times during placement.

You should work within ethical and legal frameworks, and be able to articulate the underpinning values of The Code (NMC, 2015).

The Professional Values reflect a number of proficiency statements and provides evidence that these proficencies are being met

In line with each final interview you will select one example from practice to demonstrate how they practise within The Code (a different example for each assessment). Confidentiality in relation to people receiving care and service providers should be maintained.

These should be referenced and it is recommended no more than 500 words.
