One of the best ways to understand how the STAR method works in practice is to step into the employer’s shoes and be the recruiter yourself.

Now that you have seen what it is like for an employer, hopefully you can see how much detail you need when talking about your own experiences.

Thinking about the skills you mentioned in question 2, pick one of these and write your own example of when you have demonstrated this skill. Remember to think about the difference between task and action and to really show the employer the value you added to the situation
