Mission:
Pi Delta National Honors Society’s goal is to stimulate scholarship in podiatric medicine and related health sciences for the advancement of the profession. PDNHS promotes academic excellence and aims to provide unique opportunities to heighten knowledge in academic, research, leadership and clinical reasoning skills.
Becoming a Member:
There is no “formal” membership application process for PDNHS. Membership is based on individual merit, which is determined by our faculty advisor upon review of academic standing and performance during your first year. First-year students who receive a 3.6 or higher GPA or are within the top 20% of their class at the completion of the first year will be offered candidacy for PDNHS. If these criteria are maintained through the remainder of your time at Scholl College, you will be inducted into the National Chapter of Pi Delta upon your graduation.
