The Charli

Charli D'amelio is a 16 year old girl, and also the biggest creator on Tik Tok. Through her popularity, she is widely known for her obsession with Dunkin' coffee. Recently, Dunkin' created a drink called the "Charli." This drink is her every day go-to and it consists of cold brew coffee, whole milk, and three pumps of caramel swirl. Although you can only order the "Charli" on Dunkin's app, I went through the drive-thru and just ordered it with the technical terms.

This drink is definitely an acquired taste. Anyone who doesn't like the strong coffee flavor would not like this drink. But for all the others who do like straight up coffee- this one's for you! Any cold brew in the afternoon is going to be satisfactory. On with the ratings!

1. Taste- This drink was definitely more on the coffee side of beverages. It is not very sweet, and has the strong bitter coffee flavor. The caramel does present itself after your mouth gets over the bitterness, and it is a nice drink for people who don't like drinks too sweet. I personally don't like too much coffee flavor, so 5.6/10.
   

2. Price- The price of this drink was a pleasant surprise! It was $3.19, and in my book, that is better than most fun drinks. It wasn't unreasonably pricey, making it a 8.6/10.
   

3. Quality- This drink goes down fine, but leaves a weird kind of feeling in my mouth later. It's not a total dealbreaker, but it is still a little funky. The aftertaste was pretty strong but nice, leaving the rating at a 7/10.
   

4. Aesthetic- There is not much to work with. Though the cup always brings an extra pizzaz, it's just iced coffee. The Charli is definitely more of an accessory than the staple piece of this outfit. Though, maybe if you want to get fancy, you could ask for some whipped cream or caramel drizzle to spice it up! 6/10.
   

The overall rating is... 6.8/10! It was not my favorite, but I know many of my friends have tried it and loved it. For the price and simpleness of it, the Charli is a nice little pick-me-up in the afternoon. Moreover, this is Charli's favorite drink, and is customized to her liking. She shared it with the world, and not everyone has to agree. I can't see myself ordering it again, but you can't knock it 'till you try it! Have a lovely day :)
