Welcome to the Sandlot 

In the early 1960s, a shy fifth-grader named Scotty Smalls moves to a new neighborhood. Hoping to make friends, he attempts to join a group of boys who play baseball at a local sandlot. At first, Smalls struggles with the game and is mocked for his inexperience, but the leader of the group, Benny Rodriguez, sees potential in him and invites him to play. With Benny’s help, Smalls begins to fit in, and a summer of friendship and fun begins.
