S3

S3 is an incredibly productive year for our S3 students. Over the course of the year students will build on the skills: reading, writing, listening and talk. In addition to their class text work they will also complete the Scots Language Award. Students will achieve an SCQF level 3,4 or 5. They will study the history and development of the Scottish Language and will also produce creative works. They will also start to build on the skills needed for N4 and N5 by studying short stories by Anne Donovan. In the last term students will sit a literacy exam, which success will provide them with SQA literacy units.
