Accommodations, Dates, Groups, and Release Conditions

In this self-paced session, we learned a lot about Accommodations, Dates, Groups, and Release Conditions.

With Accommodations, we showed you how to provide students with Special Access to Course Activities and with D2L Accommodations we showed you how to quickly and permanently supply a student with extended time on Quizzes.

Dates allow you to control when Course Activities become open to students with Start and End Dates and provide notifications for when things are coming due using Due Dates.

Groups allow you to break students into smaller units and provide Group Dropboxes and Discussions.

And finally, with Release Conditions, we learned how to hide certain Course Activities until students met the criteria.

All of the above, in conjunction with each other, can help make any course feel more interactive and tailored to students and expand your pedagogical capabilities.
