1st ESL Family Literacy Night
The ESL Department held its first Family Literacy Night on Friday, Nov 2, 2018 in the school cafeteria. Families played games while reinforcing English terms generally used in the kitchen. Nachos, prizes, and fun were enjoyed by all.

Our Literacy Movie Night on December 14 was a ton of fun for the families attending. We watched a great movie full of culture, tradition, and family!! Everyone enjoyed popcorn and lemonade while watching the movie. Family pictures were taken to commemorate this family event.
Tons of Fun at Game Night
Headbanz and Bingo and Jenga were just a few of the games enjoyed by families on Friday, April 12 in the ATA cafeteria. Everyone enjoyed brushing up on literacy skills while have a great time playing games with the family!!
Literacy Picnic Night!!
On Friday, May 17, ATA's EL families came together for our final literacy event of the year--Picnic Fun! Families enjoyed sandwiches, watermelon, cookies, and participated in literacy games during the event.
