Multicultural Awareness
(Ramadan - the Muslim Month of Fasting)
The Muslim Holy Month of Ramadan begins on 04/24/2020 at sundown. This is a month where some people in the ATA community may be fasting from sunrise to sundown. Explore the links below with your parents to learn more about what this time means for people who celebrate it.
These resources are not intended to assert than a certain religious belief, cultural practice, or lifestyle is more important or ideal than any other, but they are being provided to foster a celebration of diversity and multicultural awareness in ATA Students! It is hoped that the ideas and perspectives shared in these resources will foster communication and dialogue to recognize that which unites us and celebrate the uniqueness of each student at ATA.
