Instructions:

1) Look for the last text message on your mobile phone coming from a 8XX-___-____ #

that states "Hi (Patient name), you have a message from Dr. M. Rice"

OR

Look for the last email you got from "Dr. Mona Rice, MD"  (donotreply@updox.com)

with this subject: "Secure Text message from Dr. M. Rice"

2) In the body of that message, click the link that states "https://securetext.myupdox.comverify/....."

3) Even if it says "Conversation has Expired," you  may still have the option of sending me a message 

by clicking "Send a Message"

If it won't let you send a message, please call me at 828 412 3464 to request that I send you a new link.

4) Enter the PIN that you previously created.

If you forgot your PIN:

**& conversation is not expired ---> click "Forgot my PIN" to reset it

**& conversation is expired / no longer active ---> call 828 412 3464 to request a new link

**& you entered the wrong PIN, leading to authentication failure 

---> call 828 412 3464 to request a new link, then reset your PIN

5) Enter your message for me, then click "Send."
