How I got here
After completion of medical school at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in Manila in 1999, I pursued psychiatry residency followed by child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. Since completion of sub-specialty training in 2006, I have enjoyed outpatient private practice. I obtained ABPN certification in 2006 for psychiatry, in 2010 for child & adolescent psychiatry, maintained the latter & re-certified in 2022. Multi-year professional experience also includes serving in community mental health & residential treatment programs, treating children, adolescents & young adults.
